Title says it all really. I got bored after finishing coursework so decided to do this portrait. The illustration was hand drawn, then edited in Photoshop. I am SO ready for her album 'Born To Die' to be released at the end of the month. So. Ready.

D&AD//Little White Lies magazine - Black Swan

Today I made a start on the illustration brief for the D&AD student awards. The brief is for Little White Lies magazine; a bi-monthly independent movie magazine.

'Create an original cover illustration for Little White Lies magazine, depicting the main character of one of our five favourite films of 2011' 

The movies to choose from are: Drive, Black Swan, The Tree of Life, Super 8, and Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy.

As you can see, I've chosen to illustrate Nina (Natalie Portman) from Black Swan. I have loads of ideas for this, can't wait to show everyone the finished piece!
